The 2026 season is open

James opened the camp in May like he has for fifteen years, and the Lodge is ready. Grandma’s already baking, the wranglers are trained up, and the first families are on the river.

A few things worth knowing as the season gets going:

  • The weeks are filling. Most are held for returning families and our missions and pastors’ weeks. The open ones are first-come.
  • Airfare is low right now. If you lock a week, grab your flight to Anchorage while it’s cheap and we’ll handle the last leg.
  • You don’t need much. A fishing license and a willingness to get a little wet. We’ve got the rest, gear, meals, and a seat by the fire.

We’ll keep this campfire going through the summer with run news and trip reports. Come see us.
