Colonel's Outpost lit up warm at night, the charter boat parked alongside and spruce all around

New on the property

Colonel's Outpost.

A hand-built log house where the day on the water begins and ends. Gear up at first light, gather back when the lights come on.

Named for the Colonel

Built by hand, the long way.

The Outpost is the newest place on the property, and the family raised it themselves, log by log, under that deep overhanging roof. It carries the Colonel's standard: everything squared away, and everyone welcome.

It sits a short walk from the lodge, tucked into the spruce, with room out front for the boat, the carts, and whoever wanders over at the end of a day.

Two doors, one day

The whole day runs through here.

Tackle & Gear

Where the morning starts.

One door is the gear room. Rods, reels, waders, and the right word on what's running before you push off. Walk in with a question, walk out rigged for the day.

The Outpost

Where the day lands.

The other door is the gathering side. It's where the cooler gets opened, the photos get passed around, and the same fish gets a little bigger every time the story is told.

Pull up a chair

Come gather at the Outpost.
