The reds are in

They came in like they always do, quiet one morning and then everywhere the next. My brother sent me a clip from the river this week and you can see them stacking in the current, fresh and chrome and full of fight.

The sonar at the Kasilof is already past a hundred thousand fish for the season, and the Kenai is right behind it. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to come up, this is it. The early weeks of July are the sweet spot, and a couple are still open.

Pull up a deck chair. The run is on.
